I seem to have hit a solution road block.I shall briefly explain my situation.
I am using items with Batch Transaction for both receiving and Issuing. After i create a sales order i release the batch numbers(items) to pick list. Now i want to transfer the items that have been picked to a WIP WH. However, the system does not allow the transferring of items that have been allocated to a sales order (Picked) to be transferred(Inventory Transfer) .
How can i tackle this issue?
Basically i want the items i have picked to be separated from the other In stock Quantity so that i can make a decision to create another sales order based on the in stock available. I also noticed that picking the items doesn't change the in stock quantity. so basically if a users sees the quantity in stock and generates a sales Order, he will encounter the low/no quantity issue only when he tries picking . which is too late.
The industry i m working on is a repair and service industry.
They will pick the spare parts and move to a work shop , but i m not able to replicate that in the system.
