I am working in SAP VC scenario. I have a header material (KMAT) called "KM001". For this KMAT material, i have created the BOM in CS01 with usage 1 (production). I have assigned 5 BOM components in this BOM. And all the BOM components are stock items. Out of 5 BOM components, 1 BOM component (5th line item) is again KMAT item. The name of the sub-assembly is "KM990". For this KMAT item (KM990), i have again maintained the BOM in CS01 with usage 1.
I have maintained the configuration profile for both final assembly (KM001) and sub-assembly (KM990) materials as below. with below settings, i am creating sale order for my final assembly. In sale order, i am providing the Characterics value for my sub-assembly. Then, i am creating the production order against the sale order for my final assembly. while creating the production order, the characterictics value which i have provided in the sale order for the sub-assembly, is NOT getting copied into my production order. And hence the BOM components also NOT getting determined for my sub-assembly.
How to bring the charateristics value of my sub-assembly from my final assembly sale order to my final assembly production order?
Need your guidance.
