GRC PC 10.0 - Offline PDF Processing - Submit Action not being processed

Hi SAP experts,

I have an issue with the offline Adobe PDF forms for workflows inside Process Control. I have listed what happens below.

  • A manual test is planned and the workflow (WF) is triggered with the Control Tester receiving the test
  • A background job is running, GRFN_OWP_SENDER, this then sends the Work Inbox Item to the Control Tester's email
  • The Control Tester opens the Interactive PDF Form, fills out the required fields to raise an issue (Issue Owner = Subprocess Owner in this case) and then hits <SUBMIT>, and sends the completed, attached form back to the SAP system
  • The exit rules then process the data and perform the SUBMIT action to get to the next WF step
  • GRFN_OWP_SENDER sends the Work Inbox Item to the Subprocess Owner's email
  • The Subprocess Owner then Assigns the remediation plan to whoever, fills out the required fields and hits <SUBMIT>, and sends the completed, attached form back to the SAP system
  • The exit rules then process the data and and update the Issue BUT they DO NOT perform the SUBMIT action to get to the next WF step
  • The Subprocess Owner then has to manually log into the NWBC portal and hit the <SUBMIT> button in the Work Item from the Work Inbox.
  • This has to be done for each WF step thereafter. (Manually clicking <SUBMIT> in the NWBC)
  • If one is to pass the test and hit <SUBMIT> it completes the WF and the Work Item is updated and then is no longer in the Work Inbox.

Please may someone assist me in troubleshooting.

  1. I have evaluated the MIME traces for the Inbound Processing- All fine
  2. Checked SLG1 - No problems there
  3. Checked SWIA - Waiting step is obviously unchanged as the SUBMIT action has not "happened".

Many thanks in advance to whoever assist me in this regard.
