Table Types in SAP B1

Dear All,

I would like to ask a question about different types of tables in SAP B1 in detail. I mean when I need to create a Master Data Type table and when I need to create a Document Type table ? And what will be the benefit of creating these table (in which scenario) depending on the table type ?
